Pre-Apple Event
Today marks Apples long anticipated September event. With the leaks and rumors surrounding the upcoming iPhone 14, Airpod Pro 2, Apple Watch Series 8 I think this will be an interesting event to watch. Thanks to a lot of the pre release leaks it will unfortunately be another year of the lightning connector on the iPhone which is really a shame, but hopefully we will see that corrected as more and more of Apple's devices are moving to the USB-C connector already standard on Android devices, the iPad Pro line up, and all Macbooks. I think this is a miss in my opinion as many users (myself included) are getting tired of carrying around a lightning cable for their phone and airpods, an apple watch charger, and now a USB cable for their macbooks and iPads. The movement to USB-C would be a big step in cutting down cable clutter and improving data transfer speeds when transferring large files to and from iPhones.
